Welcome to the Laboratory for Integrated Multiscale Mechano-Biological Systems (LIMMBS). We are part of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Yale University. Our focus is on multiscale mechanobiology in cancer and development, from molecular to multicellular levels. Mechanics is critical in proper tissue organization and function, and dysregulated mechanics can lead to diseased states such as the metastatic progression of cancer. We aim to better understand these phenomena through integrated approaches involving microfluidics, computational modeling, and novel experimental systems. See our research page for more details.
